After weeks of uncertainty we have been given the go ahead to open up !
Things are certainly going to be a little different.
I've really missed my little woolly world, my sanctuary, my social life!
I've been busy getting every thing in order to keep our little haven a safe place to shop for everyone. The tape measure's been out and I've been marking the floor with tape, sneeze screens in place, hand sanitisers ready to go, posters dotted here there and everywhere and lots of PPE !
The weathers certainly been kind to us over lockdown, and it's been lovely to be able to spend lots of time in the garden and taking lovely walks.
My house has had a make over! I've even got my Cath Kidstin inspired kitchen I've always dreamt of !! I cannot believe my other half has agreed - pink walls, can you believe it!! And he even likes it, in fact I'd say he LOVES it!
Just waiting for all the shops to open up now so I fill it will vintage loveliness.
Now things are slowly returning to some sort of normality (what ever that is ) I aim to blog at least once a week, it will be mainly keeping you up to date with all the goings on at Beacon Crafts, lots knitting and crochet and me waffling on! It can be very tricky keeping up with a blog when your running a shop, I've tried before but failed miserably !
The first day of opening was fantasic, everyone is happy so far with the new "rules", which is a huge relief. It was so lovely seeing some of our regulars again.
I had fogotten how lovely and bright it was in the shop when the shutters are pulled up !
This week has seen the launch of our beginner crochet kits and wow have they gone down well. Theres been a few technical issues (as always) but I always get there in the end!
Keep your eyes peeled for our exclusive intermediate and advanced crochet kits coming very soon.
I must leave it here now and get ready to pop up to my woolly world and get the shutters pulled up for another working day! It's a hard life been a wool shop owner!
Stay safe my lovelies and I'll catch up with you very soon xx
